FastVPN Privacy Policy

Effective Date: March 28, 2026 Last Updated: April 9, 2026
Summary

FastVPN ("we", "us", or "the App") is operated by FastVPN Team. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use FastVPN.

1. Developer Information

Developer: FastVPN Team
Contact Email: support@fastvpn.wiki
Website: https://fastvpn.wiki

2. VPN Service Description

FastVPN uses the Android VpnService API and WireGuard protocol to create a secure encrypted tunnel. If Kill Switch is enabled, internet traffic is blocked when the VPN disconnects unexpectedly.

3. Information We Collect

  • User ID (anonymous app account/session ID generated by our backend)
  • Device identifiers, such as Google Advertising ID (GAID) and App Set ID (when available)
  • Device and app information (OS version, app version, diagnostics)
  • Connection metadata (timestamps, server location, duration, bandwidth usage)
  • Connection history shown inside the app
  • Ad request and measurement signals required for in-app ads
  • App events used for attribution and performance measurement (for example, app activation)

4. In-App Advertising and AdMob

FastVPN displays in-app advertisements using Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). When ad requests are made, Google may process technical data such as advertising ID, device identifiers, app information, IP address, diagnostics, and approximate location derived from network information for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement. We do not link GAID/App Set ID to your real identity (such as name, phone number, or email), and we do not sell this data.

5. Facebook SDK (Meta) Disclosure

FastVPN integrates Meta Facebook SDK for app event reporting, attribution, and campaign performance measurement. This may include app activation and related event signals, device identifiers, and app diagnostics used by Meta to provide analytics and advertising measurement services.

6. Information We Do Not Collect

  • Browsing history
  • DNS queries
  • Traffic content
  • Original IP address retention
  • Name, email, phone number, or payment details for basic usage

7. How We Use Information

  • Provide and maintain VPN service
  • Authenticate device sessions
  • Display connection history
  • Monitor service capacity and troubleshoot issues
  • Enforce usage policies
  • Serve in-app advertising and ad fraud prevention (via AdMob)
  • Measure app performance and ad attribution (via Facebook SDK and AdMob)

8. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share limited data only as needed to operate the service and advertising.

  • Infrastructure providers (hosting/network) process service data on our behalf.
  • Google AdMob processes ad request data for ad serving and fraud prevention.
  • Meta Facebook SDK processes app event and attribution-related data.
  • We may disclose data if required by law.

9. VpnService Commitment

FastVPN uses Android VpnService only to provide privacy and security functionality. We do not redirect or manipulate traffic from other apps on your device for monetization purposes, and we do not use VPN traffic content to target ads.

10. User Choices and Controls

  • You can reset or limit your Advertising ID in Android privacy settings.
  • You can uninstall FastVPN to remove local app data from your device.
  • You may contact support@fastvpn.wiki to request deletion of server-side data linked to your anonymous IDs.

  • Email deletion requests to support@fastvpn.wiki (processed within 30 days)

13. Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may request access, deletion, correction, portability, or objection to processing by contacting support@fastvpn.wiki.

14. International Data Transfers

VPN infrastructure may process data outside your country. We apply safeguards to protect data wherever it is processed.

15. Children's Privacy

FastVPN is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in the EEA). Contact us for prompt deletion if child data is submitted.
